Our
Story
We started this farm in 2013 shortly after we moved from the suburbs of Maryland to Connecticut. It was a hard transition from walking to school to taking a bus, luckily one of our teachers Mrs. Garrey noticed this and suggested we get some animals and join 4-H! Our farm's first residents were a goat named Betsy and a Mini Horse named Toby. Their legacy continues on with all the animals that follow them.
Our Team

Michelle
Financial Backer & Superviser
Michelle was the first parent to jump on the bandwagon of a hobby farm, alongside her children. Her unwavering support extends beyond just encouragement; she continues to financially back their vibrant sometimes wild pursuits, ensuring they have everything they need to thrive. You can often find her comfortably settled in her camp chair during the fair, enjoying lively atmosphere, or making a quick Dunkin run to fuel the day’s activities. Or making sure everyone's goat's have the perfect clip job.

Rafael
Farm Hand & Hobby Owner
Outnumbered by his daughters, this dad found himself thrown into a wild world of animals, where the chaos of farm life takes center. Committed to keeping his girls happy, he faces every challenge that arises You'll often see him busy around the farm, diligently handling the various tasks his daughters assign him while navigating the delightful chaos that surrounds him. Recently, he welcomed two new additions to the farm: the peacocks, affectionately known as "the hobbies" by everyone.

Gabby
Co Farm Manager
Gabby was once a quiet child, but everything changed when we moved to Connecticut and welcomed farm animals into our lives. The moment she met the goats, a spark ignited in her, and now she can't stop sharing her excitement about agriculture and the joys of farm life! As one of the strongest advocates for farm and 4-H life, Gabby passionately educates others about the importance of these experiences. She is always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Sofia
Co Farm Manager
Sofia's love for animals began at birth, inspiring her dream of becoming a vet by the time she was five. She embarked on her 4-H journey in third grade, starting with poultry and quickly branching out to include goats, pigs, and beef cows. Alongside her sister Gabby, they manage their farm, where every day brings new adventures. Additionally, the sisters co-lead a 4-H club, Herds & Birds, creating a strong sense of community and nurturing a shared love for and agriculture in the younger generation.

Bella
Turkey Manager & Farm Critic
Bella has been surrounded by animals her whole life and has developed a special love for turkeys, appreciating their curious and affection nature. As the Turkey Manger and Farm Critic, she cares for the flock while providing her unwarranted opinions on all other aspects of the farm.

Tiara & Treasure
The Alarm System
The Bobbsey twins are a pair of Jack Russel Terrier Corgi mixes, adopted in 2016 from The Simon Foundation. They can often be seen watching from the porch for anything out of the ordinary. The two can sense a predator from a mile away and will let you know before the goats even blink.

Willow
Farm Inspector
Willow is dedicated to her job. She is up before the sunrise waiting at the door to go out. She insures that every goat and poultry that come out of the barn is health and willing to play. On top of that she walks the perimeter making sure it stays secure.

Nugget
The Cute Factor
Nugget joined the family when Sofia took her home from her job one day. Ever since then she has joined she has stolen everyone's hearts and minds. For only being 6 pounds nugget is much braver than any big dog we know of.
