Our Work with 4-H
At our farm, we take pride in our 4-H club, Herds & Birds, we nurture a love for agriculture and animals among our youth. Through hands-on experiences, members learn essential skills in caring for goats and poultry, while also fostering teamwork and responsibility. Our work with the 4-H club enriches our lives and strengthens our community's connection to farming. Together, we cultivate a future generation of agricultural leaders.
Our Work with FFA
We allow our local FFA to borrow our animals to provide hands-on agricultural education such as conducting disbudding demonstrations, teaching important safety and management practices and kidding. A fun experience is when the goats kid out at the chapter enabling the members to witness and learn about the birthing process firsthand. Additionally, we bring the goats to town celebrations such as Suffield Alight.
